'Bairns'

Bairns is a project created for my Final Major Project at Falmouth University. The images are shot over the course of 5 months and follows a personal concept accompanied by research and experimentation. 

The concept for this work revolves around derealisation from my own perspective. I created this photo series in order to reflect upon my own experiences and highlights the moments in my life that re-ground me, these are the elements that helped form the backbone of the work. 

I’d describe this body of work as the feeling of disconnection from the body and earth, but reconnecting with heritage and the world you were born into in it’s rawness.
